Gochujang Mayonnaise

Korean Recipes

This is one of my favourite dipping sauces because its so simple, versatile and packs a sweet-sour, and spicy smack. I serve it in my restaurant Seoul Bird. It's a popular favourite with our Korean Fried Chicken, and tater tots— our version of hash browns. Why not try it with my Chicken Meatballs recipe? Another street-food winner.

  • 2 tsp gochujang (Korean chilli paste)
  • 2 tsp Sriracha
  • 6 tbsp Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1⁄2 tsp yuja juice (substitute with Japenese yuzu, lemon or lime)

  1. In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together. Cover and store in the fridge if not using immediately.
